20 Constitutional Rights You Might Not Know You Have

1. Right to Travel

The Supreme Court ruled that U.S. citizens have the constitutional right to travel freely throughout states without hindrance.

Nothing can be criminalized after an action has taken place if that action was permissible at the time of its taking (Article I, Sections 9 and 10).

The Fifth Amendment prevents individuals from having to answer questions that could result in their being incriminated.

Article I, Section 9 ensures that a court can hear complaints about unlawful detention.
